Sierra Mountain Internet is a community-based network!
We start with a fiber line back haul installed as access point. As we plan & implement the Sierra Mountain community-based “Unlimited Data Network”, we anticipate being able to add 1000's of additional homes and businesses to the system without lag time.
We rely on one another to transmit internet signal strength via antennas to our neighbors. This is called a community “Mesh Network”! In doing so, we are quickly and efficiently expanding the network to add new areas of Alta-Dutch Flat, Gold Run, Secret Town & Alpine Meadows, including the communities of Blue Canyon & Emigrant Gap.
